Big Bale Play 2024
Scramble, jump, climb - welcome to the Big Bale Play!
High Lodge Farm will become a giant pop-up playground during May half-term made up of hundreds of straw bales! The main play maze is perfect for children aged 5 - 12 and there will also be a Mini Bale Play for under 5s. Our trusty tractor will be back too, as well as our sandpit, picnic area, coffee trailer and hot food stand for those who have built up an appetite. Play for as long as you like!
Tickets are non refundable unless we cancel the event, but you can transfer your tickets to another date if you create an account when booking. Don't worry if you're a bit early or late for your slot - the sessions are to manage the flow of people on site.
Please note:
- This event is strictly for 12-year-olds and under (see our evening sessions for older children)
- Children should wear sensible footwear (no sandals or flipflops)
- Long trousers are advised to avoid itchy straw
- Bring lots of water - bale climbing is thirsty work!
- Children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times
- Adults must book tickets too
