SEND sessions - Big Bale Play
Dash, leap, weave and tumble - welcome to Big Bale Play SEND sessions!
We’re transforming our huge grass field into the UK’s biggest straw bale playground, with more than 250 giant bales to explore. It’s pure outdoor adventure; no screens, no flashing lights, just fresh air, freedom, and proper childhood fun. These are the days memories are made of!
The main bale maze is perfect for children aged 5–14, while little ones can enjoy a dedicated under-5s area with smaller bales and a covered sandpit.
There’s plenty more to keep the whole family entertained including giant garden games, barrel train rides (extra cost), hot and cold refreshments, and lots of ice cream.
These 9am - 10am sessions are specifically for children with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) and their families. Visitor numbers are restricted to ensure a peaceful experience. You're very welcome to stay for as long as you like past 10am.
Usual admission prices apply for those attending the sessions. Carers receive free entry. A valid form of carer ID must be shown on arrival. You may also be asked for proof of disability.
- Running Saturday 23rd May – Sunday 31st May
- Gates open 10am–5pm with last entry at 3:30pm, except on late-closing days where last entry is 6pm and gates close at 8pm. Play for as long as you like!
- Flexible booking - transfer your tickets to another date or time for free if you create an account when booking.
- Tickets are non-refundable unless we need to cancel the event.
