Big Bale Play 2025 - May half term
Scramble, jump, climb and tumble - welcome to the Big Bale Play!
We're packing our big grass field with more than 250 giant straw bales for children to climb, jump and tumble through - just like the good old days. No screens, no lights, just 100% natural fun under the open sky. These are the days childhood was made for!
The main bale maze is perfect for children aged five - 14. There will be a separate under-5s area with smaller bales and a covered sandpit. Also expect our giant garden games, barrel train rides (additional cost), hot and cold refreshments and lots of ice cream.
The Big Bale Play is running from Saturday, May 24th - Sunday, June 1st. Gates open at 10am - 5pm with last entry at 3:30pm.

Tickets are strictly non-refundable unless we cancel the event. You can transfer your tickets to another date or time free of charge if you create an account when booking.
Everyone needs a ticket to enter the site, including adults.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.
Play for as long as you like - just please leave by 5pm!
Trainers are recommended - no sandals, wellies or flipflops. Long trousers are also advised to avoid itchy straw.
Strictly no smoking, vaping, dogs or ball games.
We have basic toilets on site and an accessible toilet with baby-changing.
Both cash and card are welcome on site.
